attending San Mateo County schools]
The Dr. Landucci Foundation, a donor-advised fund at Peninsula Community Foundation was created to give recognition
to deserving young people who excel academically or contribute
a lot to our community.
Many years ago, Dr. Al sponsored awards and scholarships anonymously
in the less financially fortunate schools. The San Mateo Elementary
School District Board asked him if he would offer the scholarships
to all schools in their district--he happily went along with their
program. The scholarships have expanded to other schools and districts.
The Dr. Landucci Foundation supports annual scholarships in four
areas: academic excellence, outstanding community and school volunteerism,
science and mathematics achievement, and dental assisting.

The Dr. Landucci Foundation sets guidelines; however, each year grantee schools, through a competitive process, have their faculties
and administrators solely determine the recipients. For more information
please contact your school's scholarship representative.
