Energy Saving Features

Here are some of the energy saving features for our office at 2720 Edison Street, San Mateo, CA that is now being expanded and remodeled.

• Solar Tube Skylights to bring natural light into the interior of the suite.
• Double-pane windows to minimize heat loss from the building and heat gain into the building. The glass is tinted which also minimizes heat gain.
• All light fixtures use the most energy efficient bulbs, fluorescent tubes and ballasts.
• Exterior walls and roof/ceiling are fully insulated.
• New HVAC (Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning) System is significantly more efficient than previous systems.
• Tankless water heater is more energy efficient than tank-type heaters.
• In addition to these "energy saving" features, other materials and finishes as specified by the Interior Designer and/or used by the General Contractor are "green" by virtue of their manufacturing process or use of recycled materials.
