| Dr. Landucci and Dr. Garabedian have successfully straightened teeth with thousands of Aligners. Before computers, they manually made Aligners in our laboratory; with their years of clinical experience with transparent and other removable appliances, they have a high success rate. Dr. Landucci teaches classes to dentists using Invisalign. |

Dr. Landucci and Dr. Garabedian use clear, nearly invisible plastic Aligners to straighten
teeth without braces.
Aligner treatment requires an evaluation to determine whether or
not it is appropriate to use in your case. |

| These Aligners have been demonstrating effectiveness in mild to moderate crowding and space closure cases, ages 13 - 80. The system is not designed to treat patients with baby teeth or unerupted adult teeth, and, therefore is not appropriate for children. Aligners are effective in treating a wide range of teens and adults. |

Getting Started with
Aligners |

Aligners are for
High Schoolers
through
Senior Citizens. |

Driven by advanced 3-D computer technology, a series of customized plastic "Aligners" exert precisely calibrated pressure on the teeth, gradually repositioning them. Virtually invisible and easily removed for meals and daily oral hygiene, each Aligner fits snugly over the teeth and is replaced about every 7 to 21 days with a new, recalibrated Aligner until the patient's teeth are in the final desired position. |

| How It Works |
| |
 |
Treatment with Aligners begins with a new patient consult, to determine if the orthodontic problem qualifies for treatment with Aligners. If it does, the following protocol begins:
|
| |
- Diagnostic records including plaster models, x-rays and photographs will be obtained.
- Dr. Landucci will thoroughly study your diagnostic records.
- Dr. Landucci will have a consultation to discuss the definitive treatment plan to meet your expected outcome.
- Then specialized Aligner impressions will be made that will be sent, along with Dr. Landucci's and/or Dr. Garabedian's custom made diagnosis and treatment plan for you, to the laboratory.
- The laboratory uses proprietary computer software to generate a series of 3D images that represent your teeth moving from their original, untreated state to their final, treated state, as prescribed by the orthodontist.
- The laboratory will send the file of images to our office through their web site.
- Dr. Landucci and/or Dr. Garabedian will review, modify and revise if needed and approve the treatment based on the series of computer-generated images.
- The laboratory produces the series of customized, clear polymer orthodontic Aligners, and sends them to our office.
- Dr. Landucci and/or Dr. Garabedian will deliver the Aligners to you, and track your progress through infrequent office visits. Sometimes intervals as much as 6 to 12 weeks can be scheduled between appointments.
Each patient wears each Aligner on an average of two weeks before switching to the next one in the series. The desired tooth movement is built into each customized Aligner, helping to minimize the need for time-intensive clinical maintenance and usually allows the patient more flexibility in scheduling the interval between visits. |
