Dr. Larry Garabedian
Dr. Larry C. Garabedian fulfilled his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley where he received the distinct honor of being elected to the Phi Beta Kappa scholastic honor society after only five semesters of university education. He was a Regent Scholar for four years at the University of California in San Francisco - School of Dentistry and in 1967 graduated second in his class of 71 students. He also received his Specialty Training in Orthodontics at UCSF - School of Dentistry.
Dr. Larry is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Mateo County Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the California Association of Orthodontists.
He has had many years experience practicing Orthodontics in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been associated with Dr. Landucci since 1971. Dr. Garabedian and Dr. Landucci lead discussions for orthodontists on orthodontic treatment for children, adolescents and adults at national and international scientific sessions.
Dr. Garabedian and his wife of over 35 years, Kathleen, enjoy travel and have toured 49 states and 9 provinces of Canada. In so doing, they have made 10 round trips cross country by train and/or automobile. Kathy is also with the San Mateo office team. Kathy is here when Dr. Larry is seeing patients.
Larry is an ardent railfan and model railroader. He enjoys crafting HO scale models and modeling realistic dioramas. As an outgrowth of his interests in trains and travel, he has developed interest in architecture, art, history, and photography.
His avid model crafting as a youth has led him to a career of using his hands and mind to craft beautiful smiles for our patients.
